MUSIC - DJS
Absolute Events (Union, NJ)
REVIEW - N/A: July 2011 wedding. Absolute Events saved us big time and our guests haven’t been able to stop talking about what an awesome party they put together for us. We originally had a deposit with another DJ but I began to get a weird feeling about them just 4 months before our wedding and convinced my husband that we should look for another company. We needed someone who could do a really great Latino/Greek/American wedding since his side is big into their salsa and my side would've killed me without some good Greek music. We contacted Chris who got back to us right away and as soon as we met with him we knew that we were in good hands. He has an awesome personality, he really knows what he’s doing and adapts to his crowds, and he clearly loves what he does. We told him right off the bat that we didn’t want a DJ or MC who was over the top and constantly barking into the microphone but we did want him to feel out the crowd a bit (at a lot of weddings we’ve gone to, even the ones with good music, there always seemed to be a disconnect between the DJ and the guests and it brings the party down a bit. Chris and his team went above and beyond for us. They did the ceremony music for us, the cocktail hour was exactly the type of music we asked for (we wanted songs that weren’t too slow/boring and that would start getting people into party mode without them actually dancing), and the dance floor at the reception was packed from start to finish regardless of what culture's music was playing (the Spanish and American guests were dancing to Greek music, the Greeks and Americans were dancing to Spanish music, and everyone was dancing to the American music... it was a perfect blending of cultures and generations). Even though our budget wasn't huge we had high hopes and wanted nothing short of a good party, but we never in a million years expected it to be so great and for everyone to still be talking about our DJ weeks after the wedding. I’ve never seen Absolute Events mentioned on this board before, but if you're looking for an awesome DJ at a great price (especially one who is very familiar with different cultures) then definitely look into them.

Review -37butterknives: April 2011 wedding. When we were looking for DJs, they seemed to fall into two camps: fist-pumping and forced participation, or music snobs who have their own "do not play" lists. So we were happy to find this company! They have several DJs - we used Carol, the owner, but we liked the fact that we could rely on one of her hand-picked colleagues if something happened. She made announcements, but she let the music do the motivating. No napkin-passing games or cake-cutting play-by-play, and she was happy to play a couple of "cheesy" songs that we liked (yes, there are some DJs who have an anti-"Love Shack" policy).
My parents were upset that she didn't play a couple of songs they asked me to tell her to play, but other than that, she was a hit with us and our guests.
This company only does music - if you want uplighting, you'll have to use a separate vendor.

Ambient DJ (East Windsor, NJ)
Chuck Russo (Madison, NJ)
REVIEW - Unbelievable. We were SO SO SO happy with Chuck. He presented himself very professionally and was easy to work with through the planning process. Chuck asked us generally what type of music we wanted played and was receptive to our short “must play” and “do not play” lists. The reception was a total blast. Chuck has an uncanny ability to read the crowd and play music that kept people dancing all night. His transitions were seamless and we didn’t feel like we were at a high school dance (some other DJs at other weddings have made us feel that way). While Chuck has a great voice (he used to be a radio DJ) – he doesn’t talk excessively or announce who he is a million times. He made announcements as they were needed but otherwise let the music keep the energy levels high. Our dance floor was packed all night long and we had so many compliments from our guests about how much fun they had. I sincerely attribute this back to what an awesome DJ Chuck is. I recommend him hands down – you won’t be disappointed. Chuck's fee was under $1500.
REVIEW - SpillerExtraordinaire: We used him for just the reception for under $1500. MH is
INCREDIBLY picky with music and we knew this would be the one
challenge. We wanted just music and didn't want a flashy DJ or an MC or
anything like that. We talked with Chuck over the phone and got a
really good feeling from him so we decided he was a good choice. Day of
he was great. He made sure that the music wasn't too loud, he played
all the music we asked of him (some of which was very obscure), and had
the timing for everything down perfectly. The dance floor was also
packed for most of the night (except for the obscure ones which only had
the people that knew them dancing).

Danny C Entertainment (Kinnelon, NJ)
REVIEW - Kristen8040: May 2011 wedding. I have been to quiet a few weddings over the past few years, and never loved a DJ. My sister's was too corny, my cousin's was too techno, and the others were just average. I took to TK in the summer to try and find a DJ. Heather and Jaime both recommended Danny C. We met for the first time in August and immediately asked where to sign. Danny is so knowledgeable, professional, and really knows his music. He called and e-mailed me a few times in the week leading up to make sure everything was ok and I didn't need anything. Danny even made a cd of all of our favorite country songs which he played during cocktail hour. All night long the floor was PACKED and our friends and family barely sat. The greatest thing was that Danny C, Patrick, and Michael have all worked together before, so I didn't have to worry about a thing all night. At one point during "Don't Stop Believin" Danny pulled DH and I up on the DJ stage. We felt like absolute rock stars and it made our night! Danny C is by far one of the best in the business.
REVIEW - Heather822: Danny
is amazing! My favorite vendor to work with! This was actually my 2nd
wedding. Danny was the DJ at my 1st as well, and the only thing
associated with that part of my life I would have wanted repeated! I
even checked Danny's availability before I checked any venues! Having
been to as many weddings in my life as I have, no one has ever come
close to his expertise, dedication to his clients, & level of
professionalism. I just knew I had to use him again. He goes above and
beyond to make sure your day is perfect! He had so many ideas to really
make our ceremony perfect… even referrals to vendors we would never have
known of otherwise, like the wholesale flip flop distributer where we
got amazing flip flips for around .70 cents a pair ~ such a big hit! The
dance floor was packed all night, and everyone had so much fun! Danny
is incredible, and will not disappoint! We love him and hope to use him
again for any events our family has in the future!

REVIEW - lisab711: October 2011. A
Vito was great and the dance floor was packed all night. The uplighting was a huge hit and added a lot to the room. The only complaint I have is that he did not play all the songs on my must play list. I'd say he played about half. It really did not matter, cause the music was awesome...but I did work hard on the list and felt like it could have been checked a little more. Also, we got a monogram from him and it could not be seen on the ballroom floor so he had to put it on one of the walls, which ended up being nice too.

REVIEW: September 2011. (VITO) Amazing! We met with Vito several times before the wedding and it was clear that we were all on the same page as far as music selection. We went with uplighting and the percussionist...if you can afford it... DO IT! You will not be disappointed!!!! Our dance floor was packed the entire night and everyone keeps raving about what a great time they had at our wedding. My feet were killing me the next day from all the dancing we did. Vito was a great MC, kept it classy and kept everyone interested!
REVIEW - N/A: June 2011 wedding. We loved Vito. Our dance floor was packed the whole night even for most of dinner! The energy was great. There was never a dull moment. He read the crowd and played songs accordingly. We got the lighting package through him and he did an AMAZING job. The room glowed beautifully. It looked better than I even imagined.
REVIEW - Babycakes SE: May 2011 wedding. Vito was hands down one of the best decisions we have ever made in our life! My husband is from a large Italian family (many that came from Italy for the wedding as well) and we wanted someone that was familiar with Italian music and customs. Vito nailed it- the dance floor was packed all night. He spoke Italian to our guests when appropriate and kept everyone moving all night. People are still talking about our DJ :o) We also got a percussionist for the night- totally worth it!!
REVIEW - katetw: May 2011 wedding. Vito was AMAZING! He really made the party. People keep coming up to us and telling us our wedding was the best they've ever been to, crediting us with how well it all flowed and how many people were on the dance floor... totally not us, just Vito.
REVIEW - Reilly626: Wedding- August 2010. Approx cost $2k. DJ was Vito (the owner). He was
wonderful! All my friends recommended him and his services. He played
all the right music and the right times, everyone complimented us. We
paid extra for the uplighting (so awesome and worth the money!) and for
the special video. Basically he came to the church and taped our vows
and then after we cut the cake he put it up on the big screen, everyone
was just so shocked! They worked so hard the whole night long editing
this- a whole team helped Vito. We were told if we went with Dash of
Class to be sure we ask for Vito to do our wedding. He really made our
entertainment that night- we highly recommend him! PS- there was no need for us to hire a videographer because Vito did the
mini-video for us of the most important events. This service was just
$200.
DJ's Available (Moorestown, NJ)
REVIEW - dinnaming: July 2011 wedding. DJ Bishop was awesome. He had people out on the dance floor and played every request we made. He worked well with our coordinator and had things moving along pretty smoothly. We had an anniversary dance, several line dances, the cake cutting, and a money/dollar dance. We heard several compliments to him afterwards and that says a lot with our very eclectic/diverse group.
DJMC Entertainment (Belleville, NJ)
REVIEW - kasabby: August 2011. A+Michael was great to work with. He had everyone on the floor dancing all night. H and I are big Hip Hop fans and he did a great job playing the music he loved along with Top 40 type stuff. I really don't think anyone sat down all night. It was great!
REVIEW - N/A: June 2011 wedding. From our very first meeting with the owner Mike until the end of the wedding these guys were fantastic. So easy to work with, had no issues playing 4 separate songs for our reception entrance of parents, bridal party and brides, even cued up songs to our rather exact specifications. Ralph hardly spoke on the mic all night, only when we needed to get people to places. He let the music draw them to the dance floor, J & I hate MCs that have a mic in hand all night and won’t shut up. The dance floor was packed and everyone had an awesome time. And to top it all off their prices are really reasonable compared to other places we looked into.
Elite Entertainment (Eatontown, NJ)
REVIEW - melliott09: April 2011 wedding. WONDERFUL!!!! Having such a small and intimate wedding, with all family, which was an older crowd, I was concerned that there wouldn’t be much dancing, well there was! We had John R. and he was awesome! We paid under $1,000.00 for the whole wedding, including ceremony. I don’t have anything but good things to say about my whole experience with Elite!
REVIEW - akmackay: May 2010 wedding. I cannot say enough good
things about Dominic and Elite. I asked Justin who his favorite vendor
was and he said absolutely the DJ. Dominic has a great personality and
he was the perfect blend of being with us on the dance floor, getting
the crowd going- but also not too in your face. He was definitely the
perfect choice. Literally the dance floor was packed all night and we
were even on the carpet b/c it was so packed. They played a great mix
and made sure to incorporate everything that we asked them to! I was on
the dance floor the whole time- loved it!
REVIEW - RamsKR01: August 2011 - Kris Abrhamsen AMAZING! FI and I saw him at another wedding two years ago. Didn't really remember him just rememberd there being great music and thinking the DJ did a great job. We asked our friend what company he used - called them to find out who did their wedding and got in touch with Kris. He did everything we asked and more. He had the dancefloor packed the whole night and all night people were saying how great he was. He is also the who you book with so he gave us a discount on our ceremony since it was so short. For ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception it was $1900 total. His assistant sang during dinner (he asked if it was ok beforehand) and she was great. I can't remember her name. I HIGHLY reccommend him to anyone who needs a DJ. You couldn't ask for a better, more energized, more professional person for the job.
Elite Sound Entertainment (Saddle Brook, NJ)
REVIEW - philleej: September 2011. DJ/Photobooth - A/F -
The whole process with Danny G was amazing. He gave us our own site to add songs we wanted played as well as a no play list. He called a few days before to confirm all of our information and what songs we wanted played when, etc. Danny G was beyond amazing during the whole wedding. He played everything we wanted and was a great MC. The photobooth was a great idea. Everyone had a blast. I heard about Elite Sound having a deal with the photobooth so I grabbed it. I got the lounge, which is slightly bigger than a booth, an attendant, a guest book and all of my guests recieved one strip of pics and the other went to the guestbook. The reason for the partial bad review is due to the photobooth attendant and the actual company. Elite Sound did not honor what was in my contract, which was explained to me as having one DJ and one MC. The day of, it was only Danny G. I was told we'd have 2 people there, especially since our dj booth was on the second floor above the dance fllor and it was hard to see what was going on downstairs when the DC/MC was upstairs. The photobooth attendant, Kevin, was a jerk. He was rude to my guests, would not explain that one strip was to go in the book and the other was theirs to keep. He was dressed sloppy, and didn't help the guests with the book. The booth broke several times and they ran out of glue and paper for the photos. We called the owner and are awaiting his call. It just sucks because Danny G was so fantastic but then we had to deal with this issue.

Fantasy Productions (Hackettstown, NJ)
REVIEW: August 2011. A++- Bob was excellent! He really knew how to keep people on the dance floor, I don't think it was empty all night. He is super friendly and accomadating, we had requested some Irish music as my husband had family over from Ireland and he had plenty of it. I would strongly recommend Bob to anyone.
REVIEW - N/A: June 2011 wedding. Our DJ Bob Albrecht was wonderful!! The selection he played was great because we were able to get so many people on the dance floor. We had the party package that came with favors and it was so fun! He took extra care to find a song that we wanted for our anniversary song, changed my father of the bride song 2 days before the wedding, and also even did a sound check with my close friends who sang for our first dance song (they were amazing too). Thank you knotties for recommending this great DJ.
REVIEW - mbcdefg: Bob Albrecht from Fantasy Productions. A little under $1k for the most basic package (booked in 2009). I booked Bob solely off of the recommendations from my local Knot
board. We coordinated things through a few phone calls and e-mails
prior to the wedding day, when we met him for the first time. He was
nice and very personable, he talked *just enough* and was not cheesy,
he played my family's requested songs, and he kept things flowing quite
smoothly. We didn't think we'd have a lot of dancers in our crowd, but
there were a lot of people on
the dance floor. We told Bob that we wanted a rare version of our first
dance song ("Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica) and he e-mailed us
before the wedding to ensure that he had the exact song that we wanted.
He also stayed away from songs and genres on our Do Not Play list. We
realized a couple days later that several songs on our Please Play list
were not played, but we brushed that off because Bob played songs that
would keep people dancing, and a lot of songs we asked for weren't
exactly dancing songs - not a big deal at all, especially if it wasn't
obvious enough to notice the day-of. Our parents really liked him and
our photographer actually asked for his contact info to give to another
bride. We were really happy that we booked him, and the price for the
basic package (music and minimal announcements, no giveaways or lights,
etc.) was very reasonable for North Jersey.
Fusion Productions Entertainment (Union, NJ)
Gemini Productions (Wayne, NJ)
REVIEW: September 2011. (A-) We had Anthony. We left the playlist up to him and he kept the party going all night. The only reason for the A- was because during cocktail hour the music stopped twice and we had to go find him setting up downstairs to fix it. Minor detail..no one noticed but us.
REVIEW - rutgersgirl82: Saturday night wedding (October 2010). Mike (from the front office/mgr) was great!!! Paid about $2000, included UPLIGHTS, gobo, DJ and MC, cocktail hour, and lighting package. We
picked Gemini after meeting with Mike, we had met with some other DJ
companies and only one made us feel as comfortable. We were honestly a
little nervous on our selection, we didn't have any personal
recommendations to go off and hadn't heard them before but all our fears
were VERY quickly put to ease! To say that they did exactly what we
wanted and met all our expectations would be an understatement. They did
a fantastic job with every detail. In addition to the DJ services we
also got amber uplighting around the room and a gobo - which was
fantastic - we loved that extra touch. The guys did an amazing job with
the music it was the PERFECT mix of songs. They knew exactly what the
crowd was responding to and played off of that and had our dance floor
packed from start to finish. We could not be any happier with the job
that they did. Everyone is still talking about the DJ and how great all
the music they played was!!
Golden Note Entertainment (Wayne, NJ)
REVIEW - cindyn9178: September 2011.(A) John was at the venue when we arrived, about an hour before cocktail hour. He played almost all of the songs on our must play list. He didn't play anything on our "do not play list". He played the exact kind of music that we had discussed with him, and made sure that everybody was up dancing most of the time. All of our music selections were played correctly and all of the announcements were good. I had to ask him to do the anniversary dance earlier than he planned because some people were already leaving (I assumed it would be before dinner, but he was planning it for after cake). We had no issues otherwise and I would definitely recommend him!
REVIEW - gibribuz: December 2010 wedding. I would not
recommend Golden Note Entertainment to anyone. This is the only vendor
that I do not recommend. I was wary of using them from the beginning
because they seemed a little too pushy and more like salesmen than DJs but I
went against my better judgment and decided to book them. Things were
fine until a little over a month before the wedding. That is when they
started to get too busy to return calls or schedule appointments within a
reasonable amount of time. This is also when the failure to fulfill
verbal and written agreements began. Once we had our final meeting with
the DJ, we thought everything was going to be fine since he seemed to be on top
of things. I was wrong. On our wedding day he failed to provide
services that were listed in the contract and failed to include important
details that we really wanted to include during the reception such as must play
songs and make anniversary announcements to DH’s cousin and my good
friend. Another thing that bothered me was that he kept playing full
tracks of songs, which I felt was a time waster, especially at a wedding when
you only have a limited amount of time. After the wedding I contacted to
owner. He tried to give me excuses for all of my complaints and even went
as far as telling me that the DJ was “going through a hard time in his personal
life.” He told me that he was going to talk to the DJ to “get his side of
the story” and would get back to me. That was back in December… I am
still waiting for that phone call. These things are by no means things that ruined my wedding day but when you are
spending so much money on your wedding, you want to make sure you get what you
ask for and what you are promised.
Time Machine Band (Pompton Lakes, NJ)
WEBSITE
REVIEW: September 2011. Pros: The band was super lively and energetic, and our guests were dancing non-stop all night. Everyone went on and on about how the band was incredible, and aside from the venue and us getting married of course, I do think it “made” the wedding. The keyboardist also learned all of our ceremony songs for us and did them beautifully, which is something they normally don’t do. They also allowed my dad to plug his movie into their soundboard and this also went off without a hitch.
Cons: First of all, I tried to reach the band multiple beforehand to go over everything, and they kept telling me it was too early. Finally, as had a meeting about a week before the wedding, where I requested that the ending to our dance be extended by a few notes, to which the manager replied “you should have asked for that months ago”….I tried and tried!! Also, according to our paperwork, it says the band will not play ANY line dancing unless requested in writing, where I promptly wrote NO LINE DANCES. In our meeting, I went over this again, and they also told me the band will take no requests day of the wedding, so if someone requests a line dance they will not play it. We also asked that Journey “Don’t Stop Believin” would be the last song. Lo and behold, after journey was played, the band leader announced “and now by the request of a guest,” and played the freaking cha cha slide. In addition, we had to ask the band multiple times to announce the photobooth which they kept forgetting. Also, we requested only 2-3 slow songs but they played more, and also we requested that they play dance music right away after the toasts, but they played dinner music, and when we told them, they abruptly burst into the Hava Nigila which started off very awkwardly because of that, but all of those things ended up ok. The cha-cha slide and awkward hava nigila were the only two moments of my wedding I did not enjoy.
Bottom Line: Time Machine are professionals and overall really did an amazing job, with all of our guests raving about them. I gave a B+ however because the communication both before and during the wedding was really poor. If you book them, I also recommend filling out all 15 songs you want them to play.

Infinity Entertainment (Randolph, NJ)
REVIEW - smw42: October 2010 wedding. I have mixed feelings on our DJ services. We hired Rich (owner) to DJ
our wedding, along with an MC and their lighting services. We were told
there would be three of them at our wedding (and 3 vendor meals).
Throughout the planning everything went fine, we met with Rich a couple
weeks before our wedding and things were fine. We gave our song list and
he stated someone would call us once the songs were downloaded to
confirm the correct versions. No one called and two days before the
wedding I started calling to confirm that they were coming and that
things were on track. After three or four attempts at no answer I left a
message and had my call returned promptly by Victor. Victor went over
my questions and informed me that he would be working our wedding along
with Rich- no problem. During the cocktail hour we went into the
ballroom to confirm the lighting setup to find out that Rich was sick
and did not show up. I was very upset that I was finding this type of
information out during our wedding and no phone call had been made to
inform of us of the issue. Additionally, Rich did not send anyone to
replace him and instead had the lighting guy fill in. With that said- Victor did an excellent job and we were happy with the
music at our wedding. I just cannot review the services without a bad
taste in my mouth from Rich not showing up. No phone call or outreach
was made by Rich or anyone at Infinity to follow up in regards to the
no-show and I'm still frustrated that we hired 3 people to be at our
wedding and were only given 2.

REVIEW - rr2011: May 2011 wedding. This is an OOT vendor for this board but my husband’s family have been using them for weddings for years and we were not let down. Vinny was our emcee and was friendly and well prepared. Our pre-wedding call made me feel like her understood what we wanted and the vibe of the party.

REVIEW: September 2011. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Jules and the entire Magic Moments staff. I had a big Italian wedding and the fact the MC could say some things in Italian to the crowd was an amazing way to bring everyone together. He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. My Italian father in law has NEVER danced at a wedding and he did at mine. That's the biggest compliment I can pay the Magic Moments team. Love you and will use you again soon!

Majestic Entertainment (Edison, NJ): Formerly Diamond Productions in Clark
REVIEW: October 2011. (Izzy & Max), Woodbridge, NJ (A+++++++) DH & I are both latin but I’m Brazilian & he is Puerto Rican so we were worried about finding a DJ would know how to incorporate our cultures through music but also play things our friends would dance to. The last thing I wanted was for a DJ to think playing Ricky Martin was going to suffice for a latin wedding *shudder*, lol. OMG, these guys were AMAZING! They played the perfect types of songs, the perfect mix of latin & American music, & EVERYONE was dancing ALL night. The dance floor was completely packed the whole time. People I have never seen dance before did, including both of our grandmothers! Izzy really knew how to get the crowd going & read them. Both DH & I were so happy & had SO much fun.
REVIEW - gia0404: February 2011 wedding. We used what was Diamond Productions at the time for DJ, limo & photography. Although I believe the limos in fact came from Signature Limo in Clark. And they were fantastic! Drivers Raul & Tom were awesome & rescued me with safety pins & even found me a flower when I realized I forgot to order flowers for Mary (Yikes!) They arrived early & were very professional & great to work with! Now as far as Diamong/Majestic goes we worked with Angel who was said to be president of Diamond. We wanted great entertainment and paid a great deal for our DJ package! He was a great DJ in a way of getting party going & dance floor filled but he didn't bother to look if the bride & groom were around for the tarantella & I missed it. He also almost forgot about the garter & bouquet toss, my maitre'd had to push him. He called me the night before our wedding & told me he had lost our contract. He needed to know what we were getting & addresses all over again!! I couldn't believe it! He also completely forgot the cocktail music which we paid extra for! His customer service is horrible! We thought we were getting an amazing DJ but were totally jipped. Now that being said our photographer who does work for them was AWESOME! Altho hired thru Diamond Prod.

Mystical Entertainment (Nutley, NJ)
REVIEW - MCRM22011: August 2011. Mystical Entertainment provided excellent service. Frank, our DJ was amazing! Our guests were up and dancing constantly, which is a true testament to his skills. I love that the company provides the client with a username and password to log onto their system. You can type in names of songs/ artists that you either want played or don’t want played. Everything is stored on the database, which the DJ has access to during the wedding. He even came up to me at one point, because I wrote a song tite that did not correspond correctly to the artist ( I wrote “Down” by Flo Rida, when I wanted “Low” by Flo Rida. He thought that I may have wanted “Down” by Jay Sean. Again, this shows his vast knowledge of music). Frank also blended songs together, shortened some when necessary, and mixed them well, as a true club DJ would. Additionally, he was not on the mike the whole night - he played music, he spoke when necessary, and he did hype the crowd up without repeating “Let’s here it for the bride and groom” every five or ten minutes like some other DJ’s do (as my experience has been at other weddings). We will definitely use Mystical Entertainment for any future events and we would highly reccommend them.

REVIEW - jcg98: November 2011. A+ Kind of a long story – we originally booked with Primetime Entertainers, but were contacted about a month before the wedding by Irwin of Nyghtvizion Entertainment (he was a former Primetime DJ) because Primetime sold him their existing contracts. While that was NOT something I wanted to hear a month before the wedding, Irwin quickly put us at ease and assured us that we would still have Adam as our DJ, who we had selected through a Primetime showcase. Adam was exactly the DJ we wanted – laid back and low key, with good energy but not the need to be center of attention that so many DJs have. He kept everything flowing smoothly and accommodated guest requests gracefully, especially when my 92-year-old grandfather decided he wanted to dance with me and HAD to have a specific old song. It was a memorable party and Adam was a big part of that. Highly recommend.

REVIEW: September 2011. Rob is one of the best DJ's ever. I had the luxury of seeing him prior to my wedding and our wedding was just as great. There was always someone dancing. He was able to capture the mood of all of our guests, young and old. Everything from the announcements to the dances, he was on point each time!
Premier DJ (East Rutherford, NJ)
REVIEW: August 2011. Ralph was our MC and he did an amazing job! He was very professional throughout the whole process. He made sure to come up to me a few times throughout the night to make sure he had all special requests that I had asked written down correctly. He also checked in with me to make sure I was happy with everything. He got all the guests up and dancing! I also got a percussionist and violinist through Premier that I was extremely happy with.

REVIEW- Em72653: October 2011. Philip was OUTSTANDING!!!!!! Honestly, he made the wedding!! His MC skills were so energetic and he had a great personality!! Almost every guest told us how much they loved our DJ, the music and Philip and a couple of my friends getting married next year asked for his contact info! My husband and I first met Philip at a restaurant he was the DJ at and after a year of listening to him play we knew we wanted him to play at our wedding, even before we were engaged! :) He was just wonderful and I literally don’t have the words to describe how wonderful he made our night. He did an amazing job mixing spanish and american music to compliment both cultures and the fact that he spoke spanish was a HUGE PLUS; it was just amazing!

REVIEW: August 2011. Jay was unbelievable. He had so many of our guests on their feet dancing all nice. He had great suggestions for different parts of the reception- I really appreciated that. To my surprise, during dinner, he started to SING! It was unbelievable and a lot of the guests are still talking about it. I think he sang some Frank Sinatra and Billy Joel. Seriously, we loved Jay and Spinners.

REVIEW - liz113: June 2011. Joey and James were amazing and helped create the most wonderful night of our lives! They truly are professionals, and were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. The dance floor was packed from the first song they played to the last. We can't thank them enough for helping create such happy memories!

REVIEW - NikkiPSU: June 2011 wedding. PJ was amazing and I would recommend him to everyone! The dance floor was packed all night and not a person was sitting! The only snafu was that he played the Conga, which I specifically asked him not to do, but the guests seemed to like it.

REVIEW - golfrgal: May 2011 wedding. I wasn't overly thrilled with Alex's DJing, but he got the job done. When I said I was having an "Anniversary Dance" to celebrate the longest married couples, rather than doing the Bouquet and Garter toss, he had no idea what I was talking about. He ended up having to play the song twice since it didn't occur to him to start calling couples off the dance floor until two thirds of the song was over! During the first dance, he barely gave us enough time before letting everyone else join us. And, he kept mispronouncing our last name! I really would have liked to meet in person to go over everything in detail, but I was told to let the professionals do their job. Oh well, live and learn. Could have been better, but also could have been worse. At least he played music and people danced.
Your Wedding Entertainment/Wayde West, DJ
WEBSITEREVIEW - McJays: November 2011. Wayde was the DJ at a wedding we went to last year and I liked how he wasn't too overbearing like some other DJ's. He was extremely easy to work with and had no problem locating Hawaiian music for my cocktail hour (I am from the region). Nor did he charge me extra to download these songs he may never play again. We also sent him very last minute song requests that he was able to accommodate and his pricing is very affordable.
