America's Best Limousines (Fairfield, NJ)
REVIEW - kristen8040: May 2011 wedding. My cousin had also used Max's party bus (part of America's Best Limos) so we decided to go with them too. We went with a 24 passenger bus that was spacious and very clean. The day before I was supposed to get a confirmation call which came a bit late in the day, but nonetheless they did confirm. The day of I started freaking out about the guys getting picked up too late and called in the morning to see if they could come 15 minutes early. Max was really accommodating and actually came 15 minutes before the time I had asked for. Max and his assistant were great throughout the day, from checking the church's capacity, to making sure my train was good, they really did an outstanding job.

REVIEW - SpillerExtraordinaire: June 2010 wedding. My FIL and MIL dealt with all this. We got a limo and a coach bus for a
shuttle. From what I've heard everything went off well. The only
hiccup was that it took the driver awhile to make the return trip from
the Mill to the house I was at which led to me being about 5 minutes
late to the ceremony

Review -37butterknives: April 2011 wedding. We used them because they have black stretches. All the popular limousine companies have all-white fleets, and I don't care for white limousines. BBZ keeps their cars in a garage, so they were in excellent condition inside and out.
We told them that we didn't want the champagne included in the wedding package because we were bringing a bottle we got as an engagement gift. However, they misinterpreted that to mean we weren't drinking anything, so there weren't any glasses in our car! Thankfully, the other car had glasses.
I also wondered if they could have taken a better route to get to the park where we had our post-ceremony pictures taken. But I suppose we would have been stuck in traffic no matter what.
Aside from those hiccups, we were very happy with them.
(Note: In addition to not having white limousines, they don't have stretch SUVs or party buses.)

REVIEW -cindyn9178: September 2011. Rating - A-: We had a 6 passenger car for my bachelorette party. My sister had called them to book the limo a couple weeks prior and they were very professional and friendly over the phone. They also offered a great price compared to other Limo companies in NJ. NY does not charge limo tax, so we saved a lot of money that way.
On the day of the party, they showed up about 20 minutes early and waited for us to be ready to leave. They got us to our destination quickly and with no problems. They provided a bottle of champagne, cups, and napkins. We gave the driver a cd to play for us and he was more than happy to change the song as we wanted.
The car was clean and nice inside and out.
The only issue was that the driver wasn't good with directions. He called us when he was on the way to pick us up from the house, wanting directions, so my friend had to get on the phone with him and explain, but that only took a minute.
Then, on the way to the bar, he wasn't sure how to go, and my friend basically had to direct him there. She noticed that he didn't have a GPS or even printed directions from mapquest, he just had some directions written down on a notepad. So that was the only negative. I might suggest providing them with mapquest directions when you book them, or print them out and hand them to the driver when they pick you up, just to be on the safe side. (that would probably be a good idea with any limo company you use, just in case).
Other than that, I would definitely recommend this company. The only reason I am giving them an A- is because of the directions.

REVIEW: August 2011. Was beyond happy with them! They arrived to my house super early! The limos were very clean inside. The driver was exceptional. Prior to walking down the aisle he was making sure my veil and dress were just so. Couldn't of been happier with their service.

D & G Limousines (Colonia, NJ)
REVIEW - N/A: June 2011 wedding. Friendly, on time, car was absolutely gorgeous (1965 Rolls) and he even went back to the venue and drove a few more guest back to the hotel since we had to pay for X number of hours anyway which was their minimum.
REVIEW - akmackay: May 2010 wedding. I’m breaking this down into two categories, company prior to and drivers day of.
- Prior to the wedding: D - They were the biggest hassle, and honestly the biggest scammers. They drag you in and then once the contract is signed they treat you terribly. I had asked them to extend the discount that I had received when booking to add on an extra half an hour and to add on a shuttle bus a few months before the wedding. They said “now that the economy has turned, we need to start looking at the company and not the clients” ummmm… no. You should be working on your relationships with clients and relying on their recommendations- especially now the economy is in an upswing. Because of this I did not add anything on and they lost out on the money completely. It would have been more worthwhile to give me the discount and at least have something. Then, we received an email 29 days out saying that “Please call with your credit card if you wish to pay the remaining balance. Note that within 30 days you can no longer use a credit card, you must pay the balance by bank check.” We call and they said sorry, you’re 29 days out you can’t pay by credit card. Had they said “Your balance is due and it can be paid by bank check” there would not have been an issue. I just found it ridiculously sketchy that they would send that email out at 29 days. The owner again did not care and hung up on my husband when he had called to complain. Very unprofessional.
- Day of Drivers: Billy and Deshawn: A+ - I loved them. They were late to pick me up b/c of BILs and the photographer, so that was not their fault. Billy literally was my shadow. He was always standing with a bottle of water for me, and he closed/opened the doors to the church, told the BMs when to walk, made sure my train was perfect at all times during pictures etc, and held my bouquet when my arms got tired. I could not have asked for anything more the day of. They took care of me, my husband and my bridal party like we were true VIPs. Completely restored my faith in the company, although since the owner is terrible I do not know that I could recommend them.
DJ's Limo (Roselle Park, NJ)
REVIEW - mbcdefg: DH had wanted a cool car to take out for photos and to the reception, so
when I saw a checkered cab limo in a local Knottie's bio I called DJ's
to book it. I went to see it in person in the fall and was really
impressed with how it looked, and I took DH back to see it when I made
the final payment during the winter. The clerk said she'd start it for
us so we could see all the inside lights, but the car had a hard time
starting up. Once it finally started, it was really loud. They assured
us that it was only because they hadn't yet taken it out in the cold
weather and that they'd warm it up before coming to our April wedding,
and if by chance it wasn't working on our wedding day they'd send
another car. The checkered cab limo was waiting for us when we came out
of the church after the ceremony and our guests loved it. It took us to a
park in Newark for photos, where random people kept taking photos of it
and posing in front of it. When we got back to the car after
the photos the driver told us that it wouldn't start. The driver (Felix)
called DJ's to send us a working car to get us to the reception, and he
kept trying to start the car in the meantime while we took some more
photos to keep ourselves busy. An Escalade showed up after about 25
minutes, Felix and the Escalade driver swapped places, and Felix rushed
us to the reception - we appreciated him fixing the situation and it was
clear that he felt bad about it, and obviously it wasn't his fault. We
had planned to mingle at cocktail hour with our guests, but since we got
there with about 15 minutes left in the cocktail hour we just stayed in
the bridal suite until the reception was ready to start. Plus, since
our two photographers were with us at the park, they weren't able to get
any photos of the cocktail hour setup (the food, the guests, the place
cards and framed photo collage I had made myself) before it was all
broken down - I was bummed not to have the "details" shots. And had we
known beforehand that the taxi limo wasn't working properly, we could've
saved a lot of money had we just booked the plain limo from Joe's for
the full six hours. We appreciated that they quickly fixed the
situation, and we really liked Felix the driver, but we were annoyed
that the car was sent out in the first place if it was clearly having
mechanical issues. We didn't call them to address this after the
wedding, nor did they call us. We were disappointed by not getting at
least an apology from the company, if not some kind of refund.
Entertainment Express Limo (Englewood, NJ)
WEBSITEREVIEW - rlavach: April 2012. A+ I met the CEO (Walter) at a bridal show and ended up winning an additional $75 off my order. After the show discount, prize discount & an additional discount for an error I noticed on their website, I was able to get a 10 passenger stretch Chrysler 300 for an incredible price. It was for 3 hours and I paid a small deposit to secure it. He was very accommodating in helping me figure out a timeline and making changes. Two weeks before the wedding he redid the contract to change the addresses for pick up and the timing. The drive on the day-of was very courteous and knowledgeable. We arrived at all of our destinations on time. The limo had a hard time getting down the hill to my ceremony venue due to the angle. After several attempts, the driver turned around & drove backwards down the hill to make it. Everything worked out well.
First Class Limousine (Manalapan, NJ)
REVIEW: -cutiepie12702: August
2011. A+ - We used them for our wedding and honeymoon transportation and all three pick-ups they arrived early and each driver was extremely friendly and nice. On our wedding day our driver was extremely nice and helpful and was helping me around with my dress so the train did not get ruined. We used the BMW X5 and it was really nice and clean and we had no complaints - they even followed my request to only have champagne (it was really good champagne too!) and water in the limo (I didn't want anyone to spill any soda before our ceremony). I would use them again!
REVIEW - N/A: June 2011 wedding. Great experience! The vehicles arrived on time and in perfect condition. My dad and I had a Rolls Royce and the bridesmaids/groomsmen had the party bus. The bus was out of this world! Our driver Hector made sure I was taken care of. He fluffed my dress and even carried my purse....haha... He really takes his job seriously. If you use First Class ask for him!
REVIEW - ev4149: April 2011 wedding. We used First Class Limo for both the limo service and for our shuttle service. The limo showed up for the guys early (and we did not get charged for any extra time). Our driver was very accomodating. My one concern was that he kept pressing us to rush during our pictures so we would not get charged overtime. Honestly, I wouldn't have cared if we had to pay extra... but I didn't like feeling rushed. The shuttle service was well with the price, and my guests were very happy to have a shuttle provided. My one qualm was with the shuttle on the way home. We had booked the shuttle for 1 1/2 hours on the way back - from 11:30pm to 1am. The shuttle made 2 trips starting at 11:30pm, but never came back afterwards. My dad, brother and my brother's girlfriend were left waiting at the venue until 1:30am waiting for the shuttle, until we were able to get someone to pick them up. I can't imagine the shuttle took 45 minutes for each trip (the venue was about 6 miles from the hotel). The shuttle driver apparently told the owner that he went back to the venue at 12:30 and no one was there, so he went home. We complained to the owner at First Class, but they basically said too bad. At the end of the day, it wasn't a huge deal, but I was not happy with the customer service on that point.
REVIEW - Laurms15: April 2010 wedding. They were fantastic! The cars were spotless and they were right on time
and we had no issues with them. Our driver was friendly but quiet when
DH and I wanted to talk on our own. He was also helpful and carried my
clutch/shawl (it was FREEZING) the whole time we took pictures.
Joe's Limo/Joseph's Limousine Service (Roseland, NJ)
REVIEW - Babycakes SE: May 2011 wedding. Our limo driver was so sweet and accommodating. We did a reveal in the park and the bridesmaids went on ahead of me to take pictures. Only to find out that I had no one to help me with my dress to keep it from dragging and getting wrinkled. Haha the limo driver walked with me through the park to help with my dress! Such a sweetheart :o)
REVIEW - mbcdefg: We booked two limo companies because we wanted a "cool car" to take us
to the reception. Instead of booking the cab-style car for six hours
($$$), we booked it for the three hours after the ceremony. I read on
the North Jersey board that Joe's would charge by the hour and had some
of the lowest rates in the area. We rented a plain limo from Joe's for
two hours to get us to the church. A few days before the wedding, we
changed our plans ... my brother/groomsman drove our parents' car to
take DH, the best man and DH's father to the church, and the limo took
me, my parents and my two bridesmaids. The driver was nice, the car was
clean and everything was done on time. I thought the pricing was really
good. DH rented a limo from them for his bachelor party, since he was
offered a discount because we'd booked our wedding limo through them,
and he said that everything went well.
Limo Patrick (Marlton, NJ)
REVIEW - dinnaming: July 2011 wedding. Limo Patrick is another vendor who I am not sure whether there were any problems. However, I didn’t hear any complaints. Patrick responded to all my e-mails pretty quickly and their prices were very good. PLUS, they got our guests to the venue on time and got me and my groom back to the hotel in one piece. My MOH had forgotten her camera on the van at the end of the night. Patrick took a little while to get a hold of but the camera was safely returned to MOH the next day. That tells me that they are an honest bunch, which is a great quality to have in any wedding vendor.
Max Party Bus (Serves NY and NJ)
WEBSITEREVIEW - jcg98: November 2011. A+ We had a blast in the party bus! We wanted to ride from church to reception with our WP, and I didn’t want to have to slide in and out of a limo or SUV. My H was concerned that it would look tacky in pictures, but we have a whopping ONE picture with the party bus. Our driver was great, and made all of the necessary stops on the agreed-upon schedule. Highly recommend if getting the party started with your WP is for you!
Route 22 Limo
REVIEW: August 2011. Route 22 Limousine-F-We received a call from Rt. 22 Limo during our rehearsal dinner asking if we would like to upgrade to a larger party bus, free of charge, so of course we said yes. Well, this was more like a downgrade. As I mentioned earlier, it was 110 degrees on our wedding day, the driver and his assistant arrived on time at my house but said that they were going to park around the corner until we were ready so that the bus wasn’t in the sun. Sounds good, but if you have AC, why would you need to do that? We get into the bus when we are ready and it was cool in the front for the driver, but the back was not really cool. We all assumed that the bus just needed to get moving for the air to start flowing, wrong! The AC did not work in the back of the bus for the entire 30-40 minute ride. We had our 1 year old flower girl with us who we thought may have had heat stroke because she was passed out, thank god she was just sleeping, but her head was a giant sweat-ball when we got off the bus. I actually felt like I peed myself when I got off the bus because I was sweating so badly and the 110 degree weather felt cool when we got off the probably 150 degree bus. The driver and assistant told us they would try to fix it and get a new bus if they couldn’t. They had over an hour to do both while we were in the ceremony and nothing had been done. My husband had to talk to the driver and they said a new bus was coming and would be there soon. The new bus came around 45 minutes after the ceremony had ended and we were unable to have pictures taken at our venue because we arrived after most of our guests. On top of that, the second bus did have air, but was still pretty warm. My husband has called and left messages at Route 22 Limo since we came back from our honeymoon and there has been no response. Do NOT use this company.
REVIEW-Em72653: October 2011. (B) 2 months before our wedding our parents wanted a limo for themselves and this limo company was the only one that had vehicles on short notice. I visited this company a year ago when we were first shopping for limos and I did not like them at all. During my visit, they were rude, unprofessional and tried to make me book a party bus for 30 passengers when I only had 12!! Not a good first impression but when I booked them back in late august for 2 10 passenger stretch limos, they seemed more professional and a bit kinder. I’ve seen some reviews about them being horrible and forgetting to pick up brides or getting lost (which did happen to my husbands parent limo, they got lost and arrived 10 mins late which wasn’t a big deal to me but my mother in law was upset) and I can see how disorganized this limo company can be and I am just lucky nothing bad happened to us. I would suggest this limo company be your last resort, they do offer cheaper prices but you get what you pay for.
Santos VIP Limousines (Avenel, NJ)
REVIEW- Em72653: October 2011. A+ We rented a ’60 Bentley and a 14 passenger stretch limo from Santos and they were wonderful! So professional and so accommodating!! Jose our driver for our Bentley was just wonderful!! Held my purse during the ceremony, made sure my train was perfect during pictures at the car, drove very well and was a blast to talk to!! Not sure how the other driver was for the 14 passenger limo but I’m sure he was great as well!! Santos was my top choice and I am so glad I went with them!!!
REVIEW - cindyn9178: September 2011.(A) They called me a couple days before the wedding to confirm all of the details, which put me at ease. The driver showed up 30 minutes early. It was raining, and he had two large black umbrellas. He helped all of the bridesmaids get into the limo without getting one drop of rain on them, and helped me as well. Every time I had to get in the car, he made sure to stand in front of the tire, to block my dress from it. He helped with my train every time, including when I went into the church. He took some back roads to the reception, which saved about 15 minutes off of our travel time. The only slight issue - we were done with pictures early, and got dropped off with about 30 minutes left on our contract, yet he immediately left as soon as we got out of the limo. It would've been nice if he asked us if we wanted him to stay there for pictures, or anything, since we had technically already paid for that time.
REVIEW: September 2011.(A) I loved Santos! They showed up early, were professional and had plenty of technology to get us where we needed to go without getting lost. My driver helped me with my dress and veil and even held my hand when I got nervous to walk down the aisle alone. He paid me compliments and reminded me to breathe. I felt like I got a more than just a limo company, I got a cheerleader!
REVIEW - NikkiPSU: June 2011 wedding. I had a great experience with the company, but the GM had a different experience when they were picked up to go to the church. The other issue was that the radio didn't work which made the 25 min ride to the venue a little boring.
REVIEW - gymchick05: June 2011 wedding. Fantastic! Eddie was our driver and he was amazing. Showed up early, even packed the limo with the ridiculous amount of bags the bridal party had, carried my dress train, and was a huge help in the church. Just an overall super nice person and really made our day very enjoyable!
REVIEW - rr2011: May 2011 wedding. We rented the party bus and very happy we did. We had a large bridal party of 18 including us and wanted to have fun, be comfortable, and party. The driver was helpful with my dress and professional throughout the day.
REVIEW - katetw: May 2011 wedding. I know these guys usually get rave reviews... they mixed up picking up my husband and I (picked him up/dropped him off before me, as opposed to the other way around, which I had requested), and the AC wasn't working in the 18-person stretch limo (pretty warm on Memorial Day weekend). But our driver (I forget her name) was very, very sweet, and we got everywhere safely and on time, so can't complain!
REVIEW - flochan07: May 2011 wedding. This vendor was recommended by other Knotties. The driver (Marla) was extremely punctual and stepped up to be part bouncer in keeping away guests from me during the pre-ceremony pictures and did the last fluffing up of the train and veil before I stepped down the aisle. As I had a small wedding party, I was really grateful that Marla stepped in when she did. The limo itself was clean but I do wish that Marla took a few minutes in the beginning to explain how the limo worked. For someone that was never in a stretch limo like that before, I was more than a bit lost.
REVIEW - dalmatinka77: April 2011 wedding. Our driver was wonderful, I will give him that. He calmed me down, helped us all with our set up and was a perfect gentleman every step of the way. I lowered the score for them a bit for 2 reasons, they failed to do any research or to relay to the driver where exactly my church was located, all he knew was that it was in NYC. He took the wrong tunnel going in and as a result I was 35 minutes late to my wedding. Another reason is that they were very pricey compared to other vendors but since I called late to book them I had no other options. The limo was very clean though.
REVIEW - gibribuz: December 2010 wedding. I completely recommend Santos Limo. They were on time, the car was
clean, and the driver was very nice and helpful. He helped me all the way
into the church and even had tissues for me when I was about to walk down the
aisle. He made DH and I feel like royalty that day.
REVIEW - rutgersgirl82: October 2010 wedding. We used Santos for our wedding and were very happy. We were able to book
them while they were having one of their promotions and we got a great
deal. We had a beautiful infinity SUV limo that was very comfortable and
maintained very well and kept very clean. Our driver was very nice and
got us to our destinations in a timely manner (even though we were
slightly late to the church - it took longer than expected - not the
drivers fault by any means). We loved the champagne toast and red carpet
that they did for us outside the church!
REVIEW - smw42: October 2010 wedding. We hired Santos for our wedding with the 1962 Bently and the 10
passenger Chrysler 300 and were very pleased. They arrived on time to
the correct location and the service was exactly as expected. Our only
issue was the driver of the 10 passenger limo had some difficulty in
following the correct directions when going to take photos following the
ceremony, but the two drivers communicated with each other and arrived
at the correct location at the park. We were very pleased with the
quality of the cars, the service from the home office, and the
professionalism of the drivers and would recommend Santos in the future.
REVIEW - Reilly626: August 2010 wedding. One of our favorite vendors- we tipped them way above the required
amount! Their service goes above and beyond driving the car. They came
to my house, got us all organzed, made sure we had everything and got us
to the church. Mike, our driver made sure we were happy. At the church,
he ran the proceedings in the back while we were all nervous. He put us
in order, and even held my dress. Santos is a top-notch company, who
was a recommendation I took from this site. We rented the stretch
Infiniti truck, and being tall, it was perfect and more comfy than a
limo.
Town Limo (Lyndhurst, NJ)
REVIEW -MCRM22011: August 2011. Town Limo showed up on time to my my fiance’s parents house and my house. We were delivered to the church early and the driver opened the closed the church doors and opened the church doors for my walk down the aisle, which surprised me greatly. We had a detour to get to the reception site and while the driver may not have taken the best route, he did get us to the reception site early and made an extra stop at a small park nearby. On a negative note, the doors were not working properly in the limo. Overall, we had a good experience and the limo was comfortable. We were provided with water and a champagne toast. The driver was cordial, accomodating, and polite.
Tru Limo (Linden, NJ)
REVIEW - dalmatinka77: April 2011 wedding. The people over at Tru were wonderful to deal with. Their prices are very competative but I suppose that's because they dont offer the red carpet or champagne like the other companies. However, they did a great job and our driver was polite and professional.
VEI Limo (Matwan, NJ)
REVIEW: September 2011. Loved the party bus. We spent so long looking for a BLACK party bus and Gil pulled through for us. The only thing I was not happy about was because of traffic we had overtime charges. Instead of pulling us to the side, it was announced in front of my entire wedding party cash was needed NOW in order to pay the o/t. Will have a chat with Gil about that, but overall was happy with everything,
REVIEW - RamsKR01: August 2011 wedding. Do Not Use Them. The only reason it's not getting an F is because they showed up and we got to our place on time. Here's the story - the guy was almost 30 minutes late (after confirming the time with the company twice leading up to the wedding day). He picked everyone up at the hotel, we all went to a local park, and then to the Bridgewater Manor. Twice in that time I had to tell him where to go because he was going to miss an exit/turn. While driving it seemed like he wasn't paying attention because he was drifting in the lanes and kept looking down in the passenger seat (I don't know if he had GPS there or directions he was reading or what!). The gratuity for the driver was already built into the contract, but you could give additional if you wanted. We had put money aside for different vendors and said we'd decide the day-of what they deserved. He didn't the money we put aside - his "additional" got added onto the DJ's tip!
